It continues to amaze me that after every trip, beachgoers still swarm our kayaks and ask "You caught that fish off your kayak!!??!!" People are astonished by the fish we catch off our kayaks. To us it's nothing unusual. Fighting big fish such as Sailfish and Wahoo really brings the sport back into it. There is no boat to overpower the fish, just a one on one battle. The beauty of our location is that we have a very simple 1-2 mile peddle to our fishing grounds. We are located in a very unique area that allows us to catch Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Cobia and King Mackerel close to the beach where in other areas you have to travel 15 or more miles out to those fishing grounds.
You may think you have to be an experienced kayaker or fisherman to take one of our trips, but we have taken out people who have never fished or kayak before and they have had the time of their lives. There is nothing like peddling along and having your rod double over with a Sailfish dancing across the water behind you... It really gets the heart pumping. This year we had the youngest angler ever at the age of 11 to land a Sailfish from a kayak all on his own. Just a month earlier, we had a gentleman who caught a Sailfish on his 70th birthday. It doesn't get much better then that!
Types of Trips
In addition to offshore trips in Boynton Beach and Boca Raton, we do offer Inshore Charters in the Palm Beach area where we target Snook and Tarpon. Given the time of year this can be an absolute blast and make no mistake... these are big fish! Our Snook are known to get over 40 inches and Tarpon well into the 100's. Oh yeah, Monster Jack Crevalle's also hunt in the same area. Our biggest Jack weighed in at 33lbs! So just because you're not offshore doesn't mean you can't catch big fish!
In South Florida we have a unique freshwater fishery as well. We offer Peacock Bass and Clown Knife Fish Charters. These two species of fish can only be caught here in North America. So if you want to have non stop action and a relaxing day on the water book one of our Freshwater charters.
